How often did they eat?
Before and during the Qin and Han dynasties , most people ate two meals a day. They didn’t have enough food because of poor farming.
秦、汉朝之前，人们常常一天只吃两餐，因为收成不好，没有足够的粮食。
Usually, one meal was eaten between 7 and 9 am, while the other was eaten between 3 and 5 pm. Breakfast was the main meal. Still, at the time, some nobles and rich people had three meals a day. But this was not common.
